Overview

Clinical training begins in the third year at various Humanitas hospitals, under the supervision of specialized tutors who guide students throughout their clinical practice.

Opportunities

Students in the Medicine and Surgery program from Humanitas University may also apply to join the Virgilio Program, an additional track focused on biomedical research. This program allows them to enrich their curriculum through interdisciplinary seminars, interactive learning activities, and hands-on laboratory experience – one month per year – fostering active participation in scientific research.

Future doctors will also have the opportunity to spend a period abroad, thanks to scholarships, Travel Grants, and the Erasmus Program. Conferences and seminars with renowned Italian and international doctors and researchers are organized to promote cultural awareness and support professional academic growth.
