From the probabilistic motion of subatomic particles to the formation of galaxies, physics helps us understand how the world works. Ultimately, our understanding of physical systems is formulated using mathematics. In the The BSc Mathematics and Physics (Hons) programme from University of Dundee, you’ll study the core building block of physics and mathematics. You'll learn about exciting developments in both disciplines and

develop core skills in algebra, calculus and geometry
study advanced techniques such as numerical analysis, differential geometry, mathematical modelling
learn how to apply mathematics to real world problems
study pillars of modern physics such as classical mechanics, relativity, quantum mechanics, electromagnetism and thermodynamics
