The Business Fundamentals programme offered by the Durham College is designed for individuals who want to develop skills and knowledge appropriate for an entry level position in a business setting.


Whether you plan on being a marketing guru, accounting whiz, supply chain professional, human resource generalist or communications expert, it all starts with the basics. We have a dedicated team of Full-time faculty that will lead you into your study of all aspects of business, help you develop your skills and assist you in exploring your options. 

In the Business Fundamentals programme offered by the Durham College you will study accounting, business communications, human resources management, marketing principles of an organization and operations management so you can discover your perfect career fit. You can choose to graduate with a certificate in Business Fundamentals in as little as eight months or enter directly into the second year of all of our business diploma programs.
