This degree is crafted to equip you with core knowledge and skills required of quantity surveyors in the industry underpinned with an understanding of contracts and construction methodology to establish, plan, manage and report on cost related aspects of construction projects.
Due to it's professional accreditation, this course gives you the opportunity to qualify as a Chartered member once appropriate industry experience is obtained and successful assessment of professional competence achieved.
What do quantity surveyors work on?
Quantity Surveyors work on various construction projects ranging from building, infrastructure to industrial projects. Projects can range from small schemes to multi-million pound new, extension, refurbishment, maintenance, and demolition projects. The range is diverse, and consequently, no two days are the same.
This professionally accredited course will teach you how to blend traditional QS skills with modern technologies whilst ensuring you gain the knowledge necessary to become a construction professional in this rewarding discipline.
The course is offered as a three-year full time, four years with industrial placement or five years for those already in employment.
