Overview

This full-time Paramedic Science (Hons) course from  University of Wolverhampton is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to practice as a Paramedic. On successful completion of the course, graduates will be eligible to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for registration as a paramedic.

What happens on the course?

• The course is designed to help you to develop the skills and attributes to meet the wide variety of circumstances a paramedic may face and is supported through a strong partnership with the West Midlands Ambulance Service. Theoretical underpinning is supported by experiential learning opportunities through clinical simulation and placements in the NHS. This course will prepare you for key aspects of the paramedic role including public interaction, contributions to all aspect of community and hospital care, and working in demanding conditions and challenging environments.
