
Overview
This full-time Paramedic Science (Hons) course from University of Wolverhampton is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to practice as a Paramedic. On successful completion of the course, graduates will be eligible to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for registration as a paramedic.

What happens on the course?
- The course is designed to help you to develop the skills and attributes to meet the wide variety of circumstances a paramedic may face and is supported through a strong partnership with the West Midlands Ambulance Service. This course will prepare you for key aspects of the paramedic role including public interaction, contributions to all aspect of community and hospital care, and working in demanding conditions and challenging environments.

General requirements
- A-levels: Grade profile of BBC.
- One subject from the following: Biology, Chemistry, Health and Social Care, Psychology, Physics or Social Science.
- Subjects not accepted towards the BBC grade profile are Critical thinking, General Studies and the Extended Project.
- Access to HE Diploma (60 credits): of which a minimum of 45 must be at Level 3 (112 UCAS point equivalence, minimum 15 credits at distinction) to include Health or Science subject
- BTEC: Grade profile of DMM or D*D* in a Care, Health, or Science subject (public uniformed services is not acceptable).
- T Level: Pass grade profile with a core component score of A* in Health or Healthcare Science.
- Tariff: Other Level 3 qualifications are accepted for entry. A minimum of 112 UCAS Tariff points will be required.
