The Mathematics and Modelling Process program offered by The University of the West Indies equips students for careers in teaching, industry, financial services, information technology, management and consultancy, government, and industrial research and development.
BSc. in Mathematics and Modelling Processes aims to enable students to:
- Understand the theoretical aspects of basic mathematics in conjunction with practical methods of Applied Mathematics;
- Construct practical mathematical models for several processes (physical, biological, social and business) in the real-world;
- Identify and classify the uses and limitations of such models, develop associated software and computational skills;
- Assume careers as mathematicians in business and industry;
- Undertake further study at the graduate level.

General requirements
- Have obtained passes at CSEC Secondary Education General Proficiency level (or equivalent) in Mathematics and two subjects at CAPE (both comprising Units 1 & 2) or at GCE A-level (or equivalent) one of which must be an approved science subject.
- Or: Have obtained passes at CSEC Secondary Education General Proficiency level with grades I, II, or since 1998 grade III (or equivalent) in Mathematics and two approved science subjects.
