Overview

All of the required courses in chemistry have laboratory sessions providing practical skills beyond classroom study in the Chemistry programme at Koc University . The area electives enhance the student´s research skills and their excitement for research that might lead to publications in topics such as: quantum chemistry, polymer syntheses and characterization, solid state chemistry, computational biology and surface physical chemistry.

Funding

Koç University evaluates admitted candidates for full or partial tuition-only scholarships on the basis of financial need and academic merit.

Merit-based tuition scholarships can be awarded for 100%, 50% or 25% by the Admissions Committee and need-based tuition scholarships can be awarded by the Scholarships Committee for 50% or 25% of the annual tuition fees for the duration of the undergraduate program and will be subject to the academic and discipline regulations of Koç University for its undergraduate students.
