Overview

Students applying for admission to the Journalism programme at the Stellenbosch University must have a bachelor's degree, or be in their final year for a bachelor's degree and obtain the qualification before the BA Honours starts the following year. Applications close at the end of August and selection takes place in September of the year before study.

The practical component includes weekly responsibilities, including a weekly internship at the Eikestadnuus newspaper.
