Overview
The Education Program at Brock University offers students who are beginning their university studies, and wish to pursue a career in teaching, an opportunity to complete the Teacher Education Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree program (leading to an Ontario Certificate of Qualification and Registration — OQR) while earning their undergraduate degree. Teacher candidates develop teaching-related skills, and gain knowledge and experience throughout their program.
Brock’s Education program is for students who are passionate about learning and the profession of teaching. Students experience a vibrant curriculum of study leading to teaching certification in Ontario at the Primary/Junior (grades K-6), Junior/Intermediate (grades 4-10, emphasis on grades 4-8) or the Intermediate/Senior (grades 7-12) level.
