Overview
In this Psychology programme from Douglas College you'll complete at least 30 upper-level credits in psychology, gaining essential knowledge in psychological theory and research. You'll also get 45 hours of field experience as well as valuable practice with psychology computer tools and lab time. Volunteer opportunities with the Douglas Psychology Society are also available.
This Douglas College Bachelor’s Degree programme is eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), as IRCC confirmed on March 14, 2025, that graduates of bachelor’s degree programmes are not required to meet the field of study requirements to qualify for a PGWP. - General College Admission Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of 60 University Transferable credits (notes 1, 2) with a GPA of 2.0 including the following:
- PSYC 1100
- PSYC 1200
- A minimum grade of C or higher in each of:
- PSYC 2300 (note 3)
- PSYC 2301
- Two of PSYC 1130, PSYC 2315 (note 4), PSYC 2341, or PSYC 2360
- 3 credits of university transfer English (note 5)
- 3 credits of university transfer laboratory science
- 3 additional credits of university transfer Math, Statistics, or Science (note 4)
