Overview
The International Travel and Tourism Management programme from The University of Wales Trinity Saint David has an excellent industry reputation, working closely with key global travel and tourism organisations all over the world. This includes airlines, airports, tourism destinations, hotels, tour operators, tourism venues and travel agencies.
By making the world our lecture theatre, students have the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting international field study experiences which include visits to London for World Travel Market, Paris, Switzerland, Qatar, Malaysia and Singapore. Providing students with inspirational opportunities to see behind the scenes at major global travel destinations including trips on board the Qatar Airway’s Dreamliner at Cardiff Airport.
There is a strong focus on international internships with all students undertaking at least two industry placements. This encourages them to develop cutting edge guest service and industry skills through a range of unique opportunities with leading travel and tourism organisations all over the world including tourism destinations across Europe, the exclusive Little Nell Hotel in Aspen Colorado in the USA and on Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships.
