You will study poetry and prose through considering the dynamic relationship between author, reader and literary text and will study every period from the middle ages to contemporary English, Scottish, Irish, European and American writing.

You will examine the cultural and critical impact of powerful and controversial modern works and will be encouraged to develop your own creative writing skills.

You will add to your business competence with core writing, research, technical and presentation skills to open up a wide variety of careers as diverse as publishing, journalism, or any sector of business from large multinational blue-chips to small and medium-sized enterprises in all sectors.
