Description
Please note, this scholarship is available for students registered for online programmes and on campus programmes delivered at our Aberdeen campus.
A special ‘loyalty discount’ of 20% off the cost of any element of self funded graduate study is available to University of Aberdeen graduates who wish to undertake further study at the University of Aberdeen. The discount applies to a range of taught graduate programmes (Masters, Diploma, Certificate and Short Course), and the year one of a full time research programme (years one and two for part time research students). It is available to both UK/EU and International students.
Benefits
The Aberdeen Alumni Discount provides a 20% discount for University of Aberdeen graduates on the full cost of a select number taught postgraduate on campus programmes, the full range of taught postgraduate online programmes and short courses, and for the first year of a full time research programme (or 2 years part time).
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Aberdeen Alumni Discount, applicants must:
- hold a degree from the University of Aberdeen (undergraduate or postgraduate - those who have studied a certificate or Diploma are not eligible), or have studied for a period as an International Exchange, Study Abroad or Erasmus student at the University of Aberdeen and be applying for graduate study.
- be self-funded (not in receipt of another tuition fee scholarship).
- be applying for an eligible postgraduate programme.
The discount is for new students and cannot be applied for retrospectively, after a student has commenced their study. Applicants classed as either Home, RUK or International for fees purposes are eligible for this discount. The discount applies only to any aspect of fees that may need to be self funded and not covered by additional funding.
