In Business Management, you will gain a wide perspective and thorough grounding in all areas of business, including skills in accountancy and statistics. Your knowledge will develop in the dynamic, international environment of our Business School of 45 nationalities, inspired by staff who are leaders in business practice and theory, financial markets, corporate finance, and global economics. As an integral part of the Business Management and Spanish and Latin American Studies programme of the University of Aberdeen, you will spend half of year three developing your language skills as a teaching assistant or visiting student in a Spanish-speaking country.

You will benefit from professional training facilities, such as our virtual Thomson Reuters Eikon trading floor, used by major financial services companies across the world, integrating real activity in financial markets directly into students’ courses.

You will be equipped with the skills to communicate in a global language, spoken by 350 million native Spanish speakers in 19 Latin American states, Spain, and increasingly in the US.

The combination of your business, language and cultural skills will give you a special advantage to employers operating in multinational environments, including the energy industry which is important in the growing economies of Latin America. Other international businesses, NGOs, international development, education and tourism are all options for which you will be an outstanding candidate.

A career in Business Management allows you to problem solve strategic issues at top level in HR, product, accountancy, logistics, marketing, sales and systems. The Spanish & Latin American component to your degree can enable you to work multinationally within companies in Spanish speaking countries, Spanish & Latin American companies within the world or UK companies with Spanish & Latin American production or logistics operations.
