Overview
The Science, Laws double degree from Western Sydney University provides you with professional legal skills including the ability to analyse legal material, understand fundamental legal principles, understand the relationship between law and society, and gain general analytical skills for critical thinking and problem solving. Special emphasis is placed on the development of skills in advocacy, negotiation, legal drafting and legal research.
Your practical legal skills will be further developed using our extensive law library, computer-based law research lab and state-of-the-art moot courts located on our Campbelltown and Parramatta campuses. You will have the opportunity, with supervision, to undertake projects for organisations that have limited resources.
