With a shorter time span between thinking and making graduates in industrial design need to create and innovate by adding value to experiences and interaction, products, businesses and systems.

They are thinker-makers and design entrepreneurs, self-starters and all-rounders that can figure out and problem-solve ambiguity. You will need to work independently or in collaboration with others in new product development teams, user experience and interaction, product service systems, production and manufacturing.

The Industrial Design (Honours) program at Western Sydney University culminates in a final year industrial design project intending to develop visionary work leading to industry placement, Masters or PhD research place of design in society and its effect on people, the environment and the economy, and provides you with the ability to work alone or collaboratively.
