Students in the Mechanical Engineering program at Ozyegin University will acquire:

Educational Objectives

Graduates will be able to

  • Work as a mechanical engineer, researchers or managers in national or international companies,
  • Pursue master’s or doctoral degrees in mechanical engineers, or a related field, in graduate schools worldwide, and eventually, hold faculty positions in academia, and
  • Develop new products based on advances in mechanical engineering-related fields and/or start new high-tech companies.

Programme Structure

Mechanical Engineering Specific Outcomes
  • Ability to analyze, design and realize thermal systems and mechanical systems using modern experimental and computational methods.
  • Breadth of knowledge in mechanical engineering encompassing manufacturing methods, drawing, statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics , heat transfer, materials science, mechanical systems and control, modern experimental and computational methods.
  • Depth of knowledge in one of the mechanical engineering areas of advanced materials, energy technologies or mechatronics.

English Language Requirements

This programme may require students to demonstrate proficiency in English.

  • Official document signifying successful completion of high school – diploma in many countries (if it is not in English or Turkish, it must be translated).
  • Official high school transcript national or internationally recognized test results or provisional results if not available by the time of submission.
