Overview

The MBBS UniKL programme is a five (5) year programme conducted at UniKL RCMP campus in Ipoh, Perak. UniKL RCMP uses the integrated teaching method in producing quality medical students who are able to deliver effective diagnosis for better treatment of patients. Students learn in the context of medical problems while integrating all related sciences with clinical learning as the basis.

Upon completion of the MBBS UniKL programme, graduates will be posted to government hospitals for their initial training as interns.

1. To produce fully equipped doctors who are able to serve as House Officers in the Malaysian health service.

2. To fulfill the requirements of the Malaysian Medical Council and take into the recommendations of the General Medical Council outlined in “Tomorrow’s Doctors”, “The New Doctors”, and other authoritative bodies on medical education thereby providing students with opportunities to acquire corner understanding of health and its promotion and the prevention, detection and management of disease in the context of the individual in his/her place in the family and society.
