Overview

The International Logistics Management degree offered by NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences  is the only one in the Netherlands with a Green Logistics accreditation from the NVAO (the Dutch accreditation organisation). We’ve long placed an emphasis in our curriculum on the circular economy with subjects covering the processes for producing less waste, reducing CO2 emissions and minimizing the use of raw materials. 

This accreditation proves our commitment and means that by the time you finish your Logistics Management studies, you’re a true sparring partner for companies when it comes to the circular economy. What’s more, in your second year, you work on obtaining your Green Belt certification: an extra qualification that demonstrates your expertise in process changes.

Career

• Logistics manager 

You check the movement and storage of goods to make sure products are delivered efficiently and on time. They coordinate transportation, inventory, and distribution processes.

• Planner

A planner organizes schedules, resources, and activities to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time.

• Warehouse manager 

A warehouse manager supervises the daily operations of a warehouse, including storage, inventory, staff, and shipping activities. They ensure goods are handled safely and efficiently.

• Transport manager 

You're responsible for organizing and managing the transportation of goods or people. You oversee routes, vehicles, drivers, and transport regulations to ensure smooth operations.

• Supply chain manager 

A supply chain manager coordinates the entire flow of products, from suppliers to customers. They work to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure products are available when needed.

• Purchase manager 

A purchase manager, also called a procurement manager, buys products, materials, or services for a company. They negotiate with suppliers and make sure purchases are cost-effective and meet quality standards.
