Overview
Civil Engineering from Polytechnical Institute of Lisbon is a program based on the accumulation of credits in several scientific areas with the main objective of providing the students with a strong background in:

- Copy of the passport or Foreign Identity document;
- Declaration on oath, that the candidate has no Portuguese nationality and is not covered by any of the defined exceptions (minute of the statement available on the application form);
- Diploma proving a knowledge of the language in which the teaching will be conducted corresponding to B2 level according to the CEFR or a statement issued if they are to attend the course in Portuguese as a foreign language (students from official Portuguese speaking countries are exempt);
- Document proving completion of Portuguese secondary education or equivalent (ENEM, in the case of Brazilian students) or, the necessary qualification documents sufficient for access to higher education in the country of origin, duly certified by the competent authorities;
