Overview
Creative Digital Media blends artistic creativity with technological expertise, aiming to produce engaging digital media products. This programme encompasses a wide array of formats such as text, images, sound, video, and animation, allowing students to explore diverse media forms and develop interactive experiences. Students will gain hands-on experience with the latest design and media software, enhancing their critical thinking and presentation skills while working on innovative projects across various digital media fields.
The curriculum includes modules on digital media design, video production, music technology, programming, digital marketing, animation, virtual reality, and user experience (UX) and interface design (UI). In addition, students will undertake a work placement of at least 13 weeks in their third year, supported by faculty and industry mentors. This experience is intended to provide insights into professional environments and help develop practical skills relevant to the industry. Alternatively, students may opt for an Erasmus exchange programme in place of the work placement.
