Program Description

The ‎Accounting program of the An-Najah National University helps the students to achieve a high level of professional ‎skills of accounting in particular and business in general. It aims to ‎reduce the gap between the student and organizations. In addition ‎to instill moral values which would support the student's work in ‎institutions.

Industry

The program aims to prepare students to adapt and interact with the ‎local community and various sectors through the involvement of ‎students in the preparation and development of accounting systems ‎for various companies as a complement to some courses. And also ‎through the activities of students in agreement with some of the ‎eligible companies.

Accounting program requires a training program which requires each ‎graduate to complete 180 hours of training in any field of accounting at ‎any local company or institution.

Career Opportunities

The graduates of the accounting program are able to work in ‎various positions such as an accountant, financial manager, internal ‎auditor, treasurer, comptroller, financial analyst, external auditor, ‎and management accountant or capital market participant. They ‎may also choose to engage in auditing, tax planning, or consulting. ‎Presented below are the areas of work and job titles a candidate ‎could hold. Areas of Work: Auditing, Cost Accounting, Information ‎Systems, Tax Planning/Compliance Employment Titles: Public ‎Accounting Firms, Government Agencies, Banks/Financial ‎Institutions Nonprofit Organizations, Healthcare Industry, ‎Service/Manufacturing Companies, Consulting Practices.

For students who would like to undertake a course (one subject) or an Academic semester ‎‎(several courses during one academic semester) the procedure is as following:‎

Please note that An-Najah University is not responsible for credit transferee to your ‎national academic system. Thus you should ‎transfer these in advance at your home institution.

Once your selection is clear, you can contact the international relations office in order to ‎process your application inside the university. ‎

Once you receive the admission confirmation letter you can start obtaining the visa and ‎travel documents, and come to An-Najah.‎

After finishing your study, you will be provided by certification documents in English ‎language only, assigned with course/courses description that are needed to support ‎your admission and credit transfer at your home institution.‎
