Overview
The Architectural Engineering program at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals is related to both architecture as well as engineering. However, Architectural Engineering as a discipline is distinguished from Architecture by its emphasis on the technology and engineering aspects related to Building Design, Construction and Operation.

General requirements
- The applicant must be a high school graduate (General, Computer Science and Engineering, Health and Life) or international school graduate (Natural Sciences) in the current year or the previous year.
- A minimum SAT score of 1350 is required to apply. Meeting the minimum score does not ensure admission. Admissions are competitive.
- SAT scores must be directly sent to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals from the SAT Test Center.
- An English language proficiency test is mandatory. Applicants should score at least 55 in the STEP test or its equivalent in TOEFL or IELTS.
