Throughout the Media Production (Hons) programme at Solent University , you’ll study a curriculum that is split into three distinct strands. The production units will provide you with the opportunity to develop and enhance skills in video, online, photographic and audio production.
You’ll use the latest industry hardware to create exciting portfolio projects, collaborating with those from other media disciplines just as you would in the workplace.
The second group of units will teach you about the role of the producer and help you to develop a broader creative understanding of idea generation, storytelling, how to engage your audience and how to use social media effectively. You’ll also learn about the logistics of content production, and the most effective ways of selling ideas to potential clients.
