Description
The bursary is available to eligible undergraduate students who provide unpaid care for a family member or another person with an illness, disability, mental health condition or addiction. The award is intended to help reduce financial barriers to higher education.
Benefits
£1,200 non-repayable bursary.
Eligibility
- Eligible students must be 'Home' fee status, be enrolled on a full time undergraduate course, have received the maximum maintenance loan that they are eligible for, and have significant caring responsibilities for a parent or immediate family member who they are either living with or living in close proximity to.
- The person you are caring for must be receiving PIP.
