Overview

The aim of this Wildlife Media (Hons) programme from  University of Cumbria is to ensure that you graduate with a range of media skills, but also as a practitioner or artist with your own unique voice. Each year will build on the skills you developed in the previous year as you work your way up to bigger scale and more challenging projects.

Your Career with a Wildlife Media Degree

Whether you work as a freelance wildlife photographer or as a film-maker for a TV production company, you'll have the skills necessary to stand apart from the crowd, placing you in a highly valuable position for future employers.

As part of the course, you will have the opportunity to produce wildlife media for a client. Our students' work is regularly screen at a number of different local venues, giving you the chance to expand your portfolio and achievements to help open up new opportunities after graduation.
