In this Sport Coaching and Physical Education (Hons) programme from University of Cumbria you’ll examine the theory of physical education, sport and coaching science across education, leisure and community sectors. You’ll build on this with a focus on teaching and coaching.
A learn-and-do ethos will see teaching complemented by practical sessions whilst experience in schools, clubs and community groups will provide real-world application. Completing 50 hours of work experience will prove invaluable for your CV.

Living costs

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
- Automatic tuition fee discount applied for all EU/EEA/Swiss nationals, currently resident in Europe, who will be commencing their studies in 2022/23.
- The scholarship will reduce the level of tuition fees payable from the Overseas tuition rate to the Home / UK tuition fee.
- For 2022/23 the annual Home fees are £9,250. If the course is of more than one year's duration the scholarship will be applied each year for the duration of the degree program.
