• In order to study in YTU undergraduate programs, it is necessary to pass the exam held by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and not be enrolled in another formal higher education program. For students to be accepted from abroad, the provisions in the YTU International Student Application and Registration Directive apply. Students who qualify for undergraduate programs where at least 30% of the instruction is in English take the English Proficiency Exam (İYS). İYS and preparatory education are carried out in accordance with the YTU School of Foreign Languages ​​(YDYO) Teaching and Examination Directive and other legislative provisions, except for the English Language Teaching Program of the Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Languages ​​Education.
• The field of work of civil engineering graduates is quite wide; They can work as designers or construction workers in the fields of structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, water engineering, coastal port engineering, transportation engineering, building materials engineering and construction management. Graduates of the department can work in public and private institutions and organizations or start their own businesses.
