Overview

The Accounting and Financial Management (Top-Up) (Hons) programme of the University of Sunderland is designed for people who want to gain a full undergraduate degree. The course takes a minimum of nine months and a maximum of three years. You can study full-time or, if you prefer, part-time to fit around existing commitments. You will also qualify for our MAPS (Making Achievement Possible at Sunderland) programmes. These integrate support for study skills and future employability and are provided by our team of full-time Student Academic Advisors.

Entry requirementsThe typical entry requirement is successful completion of an HND or its equivalent as follows:

BTEC HND in Finance

BTEC HND in Business and Management

BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business or related area

ABE Advanced Diploma in Business Administration

IBAM Advanced Diploma in Business Administration

240 credits or equivalent of a recognised UK undergraduate award in a relevant finance, business and management related discipline

We also require three passes at GCSE grade C or above, which must include Mathematics and English Language, or a minimum of Level 2 Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number.

If English is not your first language, please provide English language proficiency scores.
