Students develop the ability to analyse contemporary social issues and policy responses in areas such as poverty and social exclusion, drug use, criminal justice, housing, migration, ethnicity, disability, ageing, and gender.

A key focus of this Social Science programme at the Maynooth University is on how to address inequality and promote rights and entitlements to services for all.
