This course offers innovative, research-driven topics on British, European, and Global history from the 13th century to the 21st century. You can study a range of themes, such as gender and emotions, social and cultural history, political and military, and the history of crime, medicine and the body. Throughout you will work with academics who regularly publish as experts in their fields.
The team of lecturers is big enough to offer a variety of modules, but small enough to provide you with a close-knit learning environment. General requirements
- Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer would be around BCC at A Level or DMM at BTEC.
- Candidates are normally expected to have achieved a grade C or higher in History at A-Level, or to have studied History modules as part of their Access course with 12 credits at Level 3. However, candidates with other qualifications and from other backgrounds will be given consideration on a case-by-case basis.
- Admission to this foundation programme is normally DEE at A Level or MPP at BTEC. However, it is also great if you have professional or industry experience instead, a range of other qualifications or self-developed subject knowledge that relates to the programme you wish to study.
