Description

The fund was previously called the University of Northampton Bursary. Eligible students receive a benefits package in their first year and a cash payment during Level 6, usually their final year.

Benefits

First year: a choice of a laptop, catering credit or £500 accommodation discount.

Level 6: an automatic payment of £500.

Eligibility

  • You must be enrolled and attending as a full-time undergraduate student on a Foundation, HNC/D, BA or BSc course at the University of Northampton.
  • be a UK (home) student.
  • be paying tuition fees of £9,790 or £11,750 accelerated (these may change in line with any fee increases as set by the government) and be paying your fees either by loan, yourself, or another sponsor.
  • be a student from an area of high socio-economic deprivation (*IMD Q1/2). You can use our IMD checker below to see if your postcode (England only) is within quintile 1 or 2 and eligible. This fund is for underrepresented groups.
  • be eligible for student support under UK student support regulations.
