Recent Engineering graduates have embarked upon careers as electronic, mechanical, applications, design and nuclear systems engineers.

As well as specific technical knowledge, your Engineering degree teaches you skills of logical analysis, communication, problem-solving and project management. They are used by our graduates for work in design, project engineering and management, research, contracts, sales and marketing and data analysis. Our graduates also choose to continue their studies to MSc and PhD level.

General Requirements

  • A Level AAB
  • Required Subjects A level Mathematics and a Physical Science, for example, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Design & Technology or Further Mathematics.
  • GCSE Minimum of five GCSEs at grade B or 6 to include Mathematics, and GCSE English Language at grade C or 4
  • International Baccalaureate 35 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects including 6 in Mathematics HL and 6 in a Physical Science at HL
  • BTEC (Pre-2016 specifications): Distinction, Distinction, Distinction in an Engineering related subject to include Distinctions in Mathematics for Engineering Technicians and Further Mathematics for Engineering Technicians units
