You can study your chosen language on this 4-year degree with our expert language tutors, working towards native-like proficiency and cultural fluency in both spoken and written language.
You’ll combine this with linguistics, studying a range of different disciplines including sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, phonetics, morphology and syntax, discourse analysis and language disorders.
- This English and German BA course offered by the University of Southampton gives you the chance to study cultural topics linked to your chosen language, including migration and displacement, race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, and film and cultural memory.
