Overview

At Counselling and Psychotherapy (Hons) from Edge Hill University you will develop in-depth knowledge and clinical capabilities as you train to become a highly effective therapist. You will gain a critical understanding of the theories, policies and practice of counselling and psychotherapy and specialise in a research-informed and person-centred experiential model of therapy. Our highly experienced tutors will expertly support you throughout the programme, from gaining introductory counselling skills to undertaking professional counselling practice with actual clients.
