Overview

Geology with Geography (Hons) from Edge Hill University immerses you in geological sciences, which deal with the physical structures and substance of the earth, their history, and the processes that act upon them, enriched by selected elements of physical geography reflecting the present-day expression of those processes. Fieldwork in the UK and abroad will help you gain a firm grasp of the fundamental aspects of hard and soft rock geology before the focus of the degree shifts to applied geology and, in particular, environmental engineering and extractive geology.
