Key facts

The Bachelor in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts offered by the Yeditepe University offers a wide range of courses on food; nutrition, food science, food hygiene, new product development, food and beverage management and marketing, food culture and history, world culinary cultures, food styling and photography, baking and pastry, classical and modern culinary techniques as well as, Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines. The department is pioneering the field of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts in Turkey.

The Yeditepe University Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts has partnership agreements with the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs; “Food Culture and Development” represented by Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) in Spain and “Safeguarding and Promotion of Cultural Food Heritages” represented by François Rabelais Tours University in France.

The department also has a partnership agreement with ALAIN DUCASSE Education-ENSP in France; one of the most prestigious pastry/baking program in the world.
