As the majority of research is field work, both local and international, learning often extends beyond classroom walls. StFX professors have active projects across the world and annually involve and welcome students in their research.

Anthropology from St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) teaches students to compare human culture to that of the non human primates, such as gorillas or chimpanzees. They also examine how culture is imprinted in the human body—years of working at a computer can actually leave a physical mark!
