Overview

Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) at International Islamic University of Malaysia is an undergraduate degree programme offered by the Department of Computer Science (DCS) under the Kulliyyah/Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). It aims to produce individuals with conceptual knowledge and practical skills in order to meet the needs of the present and future information technology challenge. The programme is designed to produce professionals that are able to create solutions using IT expertise as well as to play a positive role in the society with Islamic values.

  • To design software for real world application that can enhance the quality of life of people in the society.
  • To impart Islamic values and ethics in software application design.
  • To asses and apply suitable technology such as networking technology to build information systems and infrastructure in a specific domain.
  • To promote collaboration for the management of information systems, source of information, information strategy and end user requirement.

  • Pass in Islamic Studies subject; OR
  • Any other qualifications that are recognized by the Senate of the University as equivalent to the above
