Students who wish to enrol for the Honours programme in French must have completed at least three years of French, one of which must be the equivalent of a third-year university Degree according to the criteria applied by the Senate.

The Chairperson of the Department of French must be satisfied that the prospective student’s knowledge of French is sufficient to permit the successful completion of the Honours programme.

Knowledge of Latin is a recommendation.
