In the Real Estate (Hons) programme at the Oxford Brookes University, you will acquire the knowledge and skills required to develop, own and manage real estate assets.
With 50% of the global population now living in cities, the ownership and management of urban real estate is an ever growing business. Our Real Estate degree prepares you for a career as a chartered surveyor.
You will acquire the knowledge and skills required to develop, own and manage real estate assets. You will study: development, investment, management, planning, construction, valuation, the economics and law that underpin the property market.
Career prospects
The Real Estate course has an outstanding employment record for its graduates. Most of the leading property consultancies, development and investment companies, house-builders and housing associations regularly recruit our graduates.
Many of these companies visit the department to meet and interview students during our milkround process. Other areas of employment include financial services, town planning and law. Our graduates are recognised as having an excellent level of communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
