General requirements
- NCEA 14 credits or more at level 2 or above (including AS91261 and AS91262) OR NCEA level 3 in Maths, Stats or Calculus AND 14 Level 2 credits in Physics
- CIE A D grade or better in Mathematics and Physics at AS level
- IB Passes (level 4) in both Mathematics and Physics
- New Zealand students under 20 must qualify for University Entrance by completing at least 120 points at level 3, or at least 60 points at level 4 and above if they have completed Year 13 at a New Zealand secondary school, or equivalent.
- If your previous studies include study at level 5 or above you may qualify for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall with all bands 5.5 or higher; or equivalent
