Trent’s unique Biomedical Science degree combines the study of biology and medicine, and through local partnerships, gets students involved in medical research and healthcare experiences not typically experienced at the undergrad level. The result?
Graduates of the Biomedical Science program at Trent University who are engaged, connected and ready to take on and succeed in careers in health research and medicine. In this competitive program, you’ll study a range of medical and health-related topics such as cell biology, anatomy, and biochemistry. You will also gain a better understanding of how the many levels and approaches to health and medicine are complementary, and will learn to apply these principles to assess and solve problems as they relate to real- world health issues.

- A minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites
- A minimum 70% overall final average (unless otherwise specified below)

- Minimum 75% admission average, including ENG4U, SBI4U, SCH4U, and MHF4U or MCV4U, and SPH4U or SES4U, plus one other 4U/M course
