Overview

The Media Studies programme from University of Malaya is offered on a full-time basis with the duration of 3.5 years. Students will undergo their study for five (5) semesters on campus, and two (2) semesters including one (1) special semester in the industry.

Key facts

During the five semesters on campus, students will participate in face-to-face and online classes, complete assignments, and undertake academic project. In the industry-based study period, students will be required to complete four Work-Based Learning (WBL) courses covering professional development, media content development, industry case analysis, and full-time industrial placement.
