The Law degree offered by City University of Hong Kong provides students with legal knowledge in the areas of law which are prerequisites for admission to the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) and helps students develop relevant intellectual, personal and technical skills.

The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme is delivered over four years and emphasises the acquisition and development of wide-ranging legal and intellectual skills.

Learning and teaching are interactive and aligned with intended learning outcomes. Students are trained to apply laws and legal principles to solve real-life problems. The LLB programme provides a firm foundation for a career in law and law-related fields, public service and post-graduate studies in Hong Kong and overseas.

An IB Diploma for admission to first-year studies. For Advanced Standing I admission, a minimum diploma point score of 30 (out of 45) is required.

Grade 4 or above in English A: Language and Literature (HL/SL) / English A: Literature (HL/SL) / English Literature and Performance (SL) / English B (HL), or

Grade 5 or above in English B (SL), or

a TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based test), or an IELTS overall band score of 6.5.
