About

History is at the heart of every educated citizen. To understand the present and prepare for the future, one must learn about the past. At Brock University, history is much more than memorizing facts and dates - it involves exploring changes (and continuities) in bygone societies, cultures and peoples.

Overview

The study of History entails following your interests and curiosities, evaluating and interpreting evidence, as well as formulating logical arguments based on that evidence.

Our courses at Brock University include both lectures and small seminar groups. We also encourage you to explore our third-year Study Abroad option or international exchange programs.
