The Film Production programme at the University of Regina offers an immersive creative environment for aspiring filmmakers to master their craft. This four-year degree is uniquely positioned as the only programme of its kind available between Vancouver and Western Ontario. Students engage in a rigorous curriculum that balances technical proficiency with the study of motion picture history and theory.

You will become immersed in the fundamentals of film production and can study animation, documentary, dramatic, and experimental filmmaking. You will also study the history, theory, and culture of motion pictures.
