Programme Structure

  • The programme is conducted full time, emphasizing on both aspects of teaching and learning, i.e. theoretical understanding of knowledge and technical skill development through hands-on laboratory exercises and eld works. 
  • Students are required to undergo two intensive training camps in the campus (one in semester 4 and another in semester 5) and a 10-week industrial training at the end of their third year to gain experience of and exposure to the real working environment. 
  • Students are encouraged to get an attachment to the government departments or the private companies for their industrial training.

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. General Requirements

  • Passed SPM/SPMV with credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia in July Paper.
  • Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Pengajian Am, AND
  • Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in TWO (2) other subjects
  • Passed with atleast PNGK 2.80 at STPM level.
  • Passed with atleast grade B- (NGMP 2.67) at STPM in Mathematics and any ONE of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Geografi, Information and Comunications Technology.
  • Passed with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
  • Passed with atleast Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
