Why We Prefer a BA vs. BFA

Our program is designed as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Studio Art, rather than a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), to allow students to combine their passion in Studio Art more easily with major or minor programs in many other disciplines.

Currently, in our program, students pair Studio Art with Psychology, French, English, Creative Writing, Theatre Studies, Criminal Justice and Public Policy, Art History, and Philosophy.
