Overview
As a geomatics engineer, our graduates have global and local opportunities to work in areas such as 3D city modelling, buildings, highways, railways and bridges constructions, telecommunication companies, military funded navigation projects, aerial imagery projects of several public and civil cooperation, and more. In the public sector, geomatics enginners work in government agencies, public supported private surveying offices and universities. The Geomatics Engineering program of Hacettepe University offers well-equipped laboratories supporting study and research in the area of GIS, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geodetic and engineering surveys. Students and researchers will have a variety of opportunities in both research and practical work with these facilities.
Skills that graduates will acquire
- Multi-disciplinary education in the use of GIS, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Geodesy and Surveying methods to model the Earth and space.

General requirements
- Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and a sworn translation if not in English or Turkish. The diploma must be certified by the issuing school, embassy, consulate, or a notary. Uncertified diplomas will not be considered.
- Exam Scores: TR-YÖS and SAT I scores are valid for two years from the exam date.

- Dual citizens (including Turkish citizenship): identity register certificate and ID card photo
- Applicants under Article 4: certified proof of completing all secondary education abroad (diploma or full transcript)
